Junior Activity Supervisor

Responsibilities:
  • Provides professional leadership in organizing and supervising art and craft activities and administration for Junior Clinics
  • ​Manages a team of activity assistants including scheduling, clocking in/out, employee evaluations
  • Assists, organizes, and convenes sessions for Junior Clinic participants
  • Supervise Junior Members in activity areas and provides activity options
  • Maintains program and clinic supplies
  • Assists with program registration and organizes attendance lists
  • Assists with planning and organizing weekly Family Night activities
  • Completes daily open and close duties, ensuring the Jr. Clubhouse is clean, tidy, and organized
  • Communicates with Members in a positive and friendly manner
  • Communicates effectively with the Programs Manager
  • All other duties as assigned
 
Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • ​Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with children
  • Experience working with young children an asset
  • Police Record Check dated within six months of the start date
 
Period of Employment:
  • Seasonal - Mid May to end of August
  • Full time
